Net Server monitoring with HP SIM?
Dear All,
i have to monitor some Netserver LP2000r for some weeks. They will be exchanged during a stay in Tokyo starting end of january. so i am not that much familiar with the netserver family and would like to know if it is possible to monitor the hardware with HP SIM?or an alternative?)
i know that there are some special Agents and Tools for the Netserver but have no idea what i need to do to use them. Unfortunately there is no hardware for testing, only the production server in JP.
thanks for your help in advance

Re: Net Server monitoring with HP SIM?
HP Netserver platforms can be used for the CMS as long as the Instant Toptools software is not installed and all other requirements are met.
for NET Server there Are Netserver Agents on " http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?pnameOID=75197&locale=en_US&taskId=135&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=
50440&swEnvOID=226"
to Download.
Install the local TopTool Agents etc. and then in HPSIM make a new decive Identifikation for the LP2000r (SNMP Settings like ProLIant Servers..)
