Netservers spew traps when rebooted

This may be in the wrong forum - and if it is, a moderator can move it.

I have about 40 percent netserver in my shop (and shrinking daily as we buy new proliant gear). We have had Netserver integration with CIM long before HP started packaging it.

Anyway - on some netservers, after a fresh load of the OS and a load of the agents, the agents unload about 500 events into our SIM console. We usually just fire up toptools and clear the event log.

Is there an easy fix for this or is what I'm doing the solution?

I thought on read somewhere on the ITRC forums that netservers have to have their events purged every so often - and that they can fill and not register any new events. Can someone point me to the right thread on this one?
