Network Name - how to change in SIM
My 32 ESX's are listed with S/N as System Name. I can manually change that, but Network Name remains as S/N. How to change Network Name. Also, how to setup SIM discovery to pickup the correct system name instead of S/N.
Thansk in advance.

Re: Network Name - how to change in SIM
I'd guess these servers have either been discovered via their ILO or via a Blade Enclosure.
HP SIM uses DNS to resolve names, so that needs to be correct for both forward and reverse lookups.
You may need to delete the server and re-discover it via name.
