No Virtual Connect information is available for this host

I have HP SIM 6.2, vSphere 4 and the HP SIM plugin Plug-in Server Module: 6.2.0.

When I try to view my virtual connect details via the plugin I get the error: "No Virtual Connect information is available for this host".
I have tried changing the credentials without success.

I'm having the same issue in our environment and have an open support ticket since 9/8, but so far no solution. Were you able to resolve the issue?

I have the same issue...

Latest version 6.3 and VC firmware 3.30... User accounts are OK for sure...

Any solution meanwhile?

Which is your enclosure c3000 or c7000?

Mine is a C7000... For me this is not an issue with the blade enclosure bit is it a software issue inside SIM...

Have all the iLO cards/OAs been successfully discovered in that enclosure?

Hi,

In my case, yes the servers itself via SIM, via OA and the ILO are reporting well all the information... It is only the VC that gives this error. And the user account is right, case sensitive...

What firmware version on the VC are you using? I assume you Have checked the SNMP string is working. Have you tried SNMP walk or a network trace against it to see if it's returning anything during identification??

Hi,

First it was 3.16 now it is 3.30... Worked with neither ofthem. The rest get nicely detected and recognized in HP SIM...

SNMP and WBEM credentials are also configured like it should...

Hi, Did anyone succeed at making this work? I have the same exact problem. Credentials are ok, and I can snmpwalk my VC. Regards
