Not displaying any records on main insight screen

Hello
currently having strange issue with our Insight. I can log in successfully on our INsight server but it doesn't display any systems on the main screen, even if I search for the system. The database server appears fine and I can view the tables ok. I have tried to re-add a server that exists and it reports that this already exists so it appears to be connecting to the database ok. It si showing up allerts but I can not view these either. Any help would be appreciated.

As an update I have noticed that in the right hand pane under Systems and Events it is displaying "no data available".
