I'm a true newbie, with a dumb question, does SIM work with other systems besides HP and Compaq, like on a Dell server? I know it will discover them, but can you deploy the software/firmware? And how do you prune the DB from old systems? If I delete an old system, it brings it back in the system list.

I've seen in another thread that Dell actually has a MIB that you can import into SIM.

Maybe try doing a search in the forum on "dell mib"
