Page Error when creating an Automatic Event handler

Has anybody else seen an error with the Automatic Event handler creation?

I get an error loading the page when I get to the select system step for creating an automatic event handler. And then I can't move on, every time I hit next I get another error.

The Error is:
Object doesn't support this property or method.

The page is:
https://csqpmgtsrv01:50000/mxportal/search/AdvancedSystemsSearch.jsp?inframe=alerts

Any ideas? The steps I have taken.
Rebooted CIM server.
Cleared cache, files, and history on client browser.

Can't find any logs to tell me more than the information above and this did work a week ago because I have two automatic even handlers already created. My next step is to try re-installing IM. Stop me before I do. :)

Which version of HPSIM are you using? Also try restarting the HPSIM service and then create a AEH task.

Depending on what version you are using, you will probably need to upgrade. That's the same error I got and after upgrading I was able to set up event handlers.

good luck

Re: Page Error when creating an Automatic Event handler

Thanks for the advice guys! I am using 4.2. After I posted I did apply SP2, but that did not fix the issue. I read in another post,

http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=787938&sortPointsFlag=0

that another account may work and sure enough I used a local admin account and it worked fine. So it must have something to do with my user account but I am not sure what. It looks like it is failing to populate one of the option fields when I go to create the event handler. So I now have a work around but would like to get my user account to work so I don't have to use the local account.
