Password problem with Insight agents on Linux...

I have the 7.3 agents on redhat linux. And no one knows the password for the agents on any of the Linux boxes. So, can I just copy the CPQHMMD.ACL file from a Windows Server running 7.3 agents. But, the 7.3 agents on windows now use the integrated (windows) security. If I can't do that is there something I can do to change the password on the Agents for Linux?

Thanks,
Chris

Sorry I meant to say that I am running the 7.1B agents on the Linux servers.

The easiest method would be to run '/etc/rc.d/init.d/hpasm reconfigure' and answer the prompts with new information (including passwords)...

Alternatively, the Linux agents 7.2 and later also moved to OS security, so you could do an upgrade (and not need to know the previously set password).

I will give that command a try. We are still running redhat 7.3 so there is no updated agents for that version is I see that correctly.

This worked, thank you.
