Performance Monitor - Strange problem
I use performance monitoring in HPSIM, but I can't monitor more than 2 servers !!
I have tried to deploy performance packs licenses, but I can't monitor them.
They don't show up in performance monitor configuration.
Any ide ??

Re: Performance Monitor - Strange problem
In HPSIM you have to select the servers you want to monitor for performance and then click on
a sowtware status polling again on these same servers and then afther a few moments normally you should see these servers in the PMP licensing menu .
good luck .

Re: Performance Monitor - Strange problem
The anwser is NO , you don't have to have the same PSP release on the monitoring server and the HPSIM server .
But my experience is that PMP works fine with the PSP Ver. 7.30 .

Re: Performance Monitor - Strange problem
The problem is that I have upgraded to 7.40 on the SIM server, and I can't get PM to monitor servers with 7.30.
The solution is to upgrade all the servers to 7.40, but I don't have the time or the will to do that - not just now.

Re: Performance Monitor - Strange problem
I had the same problem when I upgraded the HPSIM server with PSP 7.40 !
I solved this problem by forcing a downgrade of the PSP 7.40 to 7.30 again and then everything worked again .
Upgrading every server to PSP 7.40 isn't a solution i think because i upgraded one other server to PSP 7.40 and i could't do PMP on it !
I think their is a bug between PSP 7.40 and PMP 4.0 on the HPSIM server ?
Best regards .

Re: Performance Monitor - Strange problem
I have monitoring up and running on other 7.40 devices.
Why won't you recommend me to upgrade to 7.40 - Is there some bugs in 7.40 ??

Re: Performance Monitor - Strange problem
No , you may upgrade every server to PSP 7.40 if this is working for you .
I only think that it is more easy and faster to downgrade one server then to upgrade all other servers .
Best Regards .
