Permission to write licensing information at target system denied
Permission to write licensing information at target system denied
The only thing I have found is that I need to ensure that the remote registry service is enabled and that I can telnet to the machine. I have no problem distributing drivers through SIM. Another problem related to the same issue, I think, is that when I go into PMP licensing within SIM and select Update Servers, I only get 5 servers show up. Ihave a flex license of 200 PMP licenses and it shows me only using 5 (free ones)
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?
Thanks,

Re: Permission to write licensing information at target system denied
I've found PMP is very sensitive to getting the SNMP settings right. If the community names are not correct or access is not setup correctly then the PMP License Manager doesn't seem to recognise the Servers.
Use the Update Servers button in the PMP License screen to refresh the list after changes

Also, try stopping / restarting the PMP Service on the HPSIM Server after you've made the changes and then redo the Update Server List.
Otherwise that should be it.
What version of PMP by the way?

Re: Permission to write licensing information at target system denied
I checked my community name on the SIM5 server and the server with an agent and they are fine.
I am not sure which version of PMP it is, but I have just installed SIM 5.0 so whatever comes with that.
I also get the same error when trying to deploy Intelligent Networking Pack keys.
