PMP 4.01 troubleshooting - please help - 2 questions
1) we have some servers that are showing as not supported. DL560, DL580 G3... will this be fixes in SIM SP3?
2) we show 12 unreachable, licenses servers. I really feel these should be in the list of servers, but shown as unreachable. How can I find out the list of unreachable servers otherwise? any help is appreciated.

Re: PMP 4.01 troubleshooting - please help - 2 questions
PMP seems to rely on the correct identification of Servers by SNMP.
If they're not correctly identified then it will not allow them to be licensed.
If they're now unreachable it implies that something has changed.
I've found HPSIM keeps losing my Global SNMP Settings and reverting back to the default community names of public and private.
I then have the same PMP issue that you see. I need to reset the global parameters, rerun the Identification and the use the Update Server list in PMP to get things back.

Re: PMP 4.01 troubleshooting - please help - 2 questions
mine get re-identified when I reinstall the Proliant support pack or check snmp.
i agree, that's the fix.
but what i need is a way to see what 12 they are. i have 450 servers.. i don't want to check them all 1 by one to find them
my list of servers says "unsupported" or "missing serial number"
what i need is a way to see what is unreachable so i can fix it. it's either a hidden feature, or a really dumb oversight
