PMP 4.7 and VM
I've a question about monitoring VM .
In the installation guide I found that on the monitored server Hp agents must be installed .
Since I want to monitor VM should I install agents anyway ?
thanks

Re: PMP 4.7 and VM
As is not possible to install HP Agents into VM I have to understand that PMP cannot monitor VM Guests ?
Moreover PMP cannot monitor ESX hosts 3.02, so in a virtualized envinroment is completely useless ???
thanks

Re: PMP 4.7 and VM
PMP can monitor ESX Hosts if you have also purchased VMM.
Once you've licensed the VM Host and got that working PMP can also be used to monitor the guests.
The PMP info you get from the guests isn't as comprehensive as the info you get from a physical server.
