Ports to open for version control agent to communicate with repository manager

Hi,
A Repository Manager is running on Server A in my internal network. The Version Control Agent is running on a Server B in my DMZ network. In order for Server B to communicate to Server A to download the latest drivers and software, some ports on the firewall would have to be open. Upon reading the HPVCR document, I am still unable to find the relevant ports to open so as Server B is able to communicate to Server A.

It be great if you guys can help me out here. Thanks. Cheers !

Hi!

I happened to have a document in front of me that seems to have the information you are looking for:

"Discovering the software available on the managed system requires SNMP over port 161"

"Components are then retrieved using HTTPS over port 2381"

Check this document for more detail:
ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/products/servers/management/hpsim/ManagingHPServers-withHPSIM.pdf

btw. You don't happen to use WMI Mapper Proxy? I would love some help on my previous post.

Thanks,
Fredrik
