SolutionUnder select name, type "power supply failure events"
In the select events section, select event category is Proliant System and Environmental events an the type name should be all of you power supply relate messages. You will need to click on add to add each one until you've added all power supply related messages. then click on next. In the next screen, select "system type is server or you can do individual systems. click on next. in the next screen you can either send an email, or run a custom command that you've created. Click on next. You may or may not want to use a special timer. This is totally up to you. click Next then Finish to create your alerting task.
Let me know if that helps.

Re: Power supplies
I can't see any Events that seem to be geared towards Power Supply degradation.
So, I don't know of any way of achieving your requirement.
On the plus side, many of the Power Suppies do go into a degraded state before failure which is picked up by IM.
If the Servers are that critical, you should invest in dual power supplies for those servers that can handle it.

Re: Power supplies
Which is the bit that does catch the Power Supply Degraded messages.
At that point the Power Supply is still functioning, but will flag a Minor Error.
