Problem installing SSH client
Hi,
Running SIM 7.2 Windows 2012R2
Clients are mostly Window based.
I'm trying to install SSH on my target machines so I can use some of the other available tools from the CMS server. I'm trying to deploy it to one of my target systems from my CMS using the deploy option and install Open SSH.
It keeps failing with the following error:
Failure
Ensure HP Smart Update Manager (hpsum.exe) isn't running on the CMS. If it is, stop it and run the task again.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi, I'm facing the same problem. Do you know the resolution?
Thanks,

Re: Problem installing SSH client
Hello,
Are both setups 7.2 versions of SIM? Are there hotfixes installed on the 7.2 installation?
To be specific patch patch 26 downgrade HP SUM or patch 35.

Re: Problem installing SSH client
I get the same error.
I do not want to know how to install an SSH client.
I use today newest version (7.4) and get the same error.
I want to know why I get the error: "Failure: the Ensure HP Smart Update Manager (hpsum.exe) is not running on the CMS. If it is, stop it and run the task again."
The error also comes if I choose "manage Software / Firmware Baseline" to a server.
Any ideas?
