Problems with after the installation of remote Support Pack

After installing remote Support Pack, it does not show me the options in SIM, and no shows the Packes.

The whole procedure is realized in accordance with the guide of instalation and configuration, and it turned to reinstall but it keeps on presenting the problem.

Re: Problems with after the installation of remote Support Pack

Did you run the "Remote Support Software Manager (Windows Administrators only)" tool ? You need to run this, configure the software updating, and then download and install a few of the packages available. I forget which ones - but I am pretty sure you will not see anything in SIM until you do this.

Re: Problems with after the installation of remote Support Pack

I have had some strange events with RSP and I was provided the following tips.

the entry for the RSP site needs to be entered into the hosts file

isee-updates.americas.hp.com (15.232.64.127)

to test the connection try the following
telnet isee-updates.americas.hp.com 80 or
telnet isee-updates.americas.hp.com 443

you cannot logon but there should be some kind of response
you will not see any options in HPSIM until the packages are available and the Remote Support Client is actually installed. It can also take nearly 12 hours for the HP backend to populate the package screen.

hopefully this will assist you
