Problems with Automatic Event Handling
I have tried to serverl time to add new automatic events without luck..
What do I do wrong?
Here is my Automatic Event Definition..
Task name: Varsling av hendelser - epost
Events:
severity is Critical
severity is Major
severity is Minor
Systems:
All Systems
Action(s):
Send e-mail To:xx@xx.xx
CC:xx@xx.xx
Subject:Viktig melding fra HPSIM

This is ann upgrade from 4.x. I have deleted the old events tasks and made new ones. But it still now works.. I worked fine in 4.x .

Snmp service - traps, set the ip to the managementserver and the default community string.

It was working until I messed with the versions of Java running on my SIM server. I deleted an older version and upgraded to the newest version. Is there something that needs to be done when changing version of Java?

The best way is that you create the Event Handling with an existing collection. You can check when there is a new event if the last run value change in the same time (in Automatic Event Handling - Manage Tasks)
