Problems with HP SMH installation on RHEL 5
Hello all,
I tried to install HP SMH on RHEL 5. I install SMH from here - http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=18964&prodSeriesId=3716246&swItem=MTX-0477e517f88e499eacbbf738cc&mode=3 and found no problem during installation. The problems was after it. HP SIM could not find installed SMH. I checked if it is started and it is:
[root@cederlin home]# netstat -ntpl
Active Internet connections (only servers)
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State PID/Program name
tcp 0 0 :::2381 :::* LISTEN 5192/hpsmhd
tcp 0 0 :::22 :::* LISTEN 2473/sshd
tcp 0 0 :::2301 :::* LISTEN 5192/hpsmhd
But when I tried to open web page of SMH on port 2381 the result was: Unable to connect
During the discovery procedure HP SIM shows message that HP SMH is not found on this server. The only way to see server was vis SSH credentials. I have a task to make via WBEM not via SSH. Is it possible?
Thank you very much in advance.
Plamen
