Proliant Support Pack for Win2008 not showing up in SIM 5.2
I've downloaded the latest build of SIM 5.2,
installed the latest MIBs, but I'm not seeing
any Proliant Support Packs for 2008 in my
repository.
I've manually downloaded the PSP and installed it onto our 2008 servers, but would prefer to be able to deploy it using SIM.
I'm also not seeing where/how to configure SIM to automatically download the latest PSPs for our systems.
Is the MIB update process the only/best way to keep the SIM repository up to date?

Re: Proliant Support Pack for Win2008 not showing up in SIM 5.2
It took some time for the 2008 PSP's to show up in my repository, but they finally did.
TO set up automatic download, go the Version Control Repository Manager. On the left hand side, select Configure the repository and automatic update setting.

Re: Proliant Support Pack for Win2008 not showing up in SIM 5.2
For the PSP for 2008 to automatically download you need to point a winodws 2008 server with the latest psp installed onto it. If you point the VCA to the repository there will not be a pack to link to but next time the automatic update runs then the PSP's for windows 2008 will get downloaded automatically.
In the repository manager you need to go to
configure the repository and automatic update settings - to set up automatic updates but the repository will only download the psp's for what is connecting to it .

Re: Proliant Support Pack for Win2008 not showing up in SIM 5.2
I found out what one of my problems was.
While I have the Version Control Repository up and running, I didn't see the Manager screen itself.
After re-installing the Manager, I can now see my repository, what's in it etc.
I was able to upload my 2008 Support Packs, set the automatic update settings and remove older support packs not needed.
Thanks for the help.
