PSP 7.30a on the CMS
I have PSP7.30 running on a few clients for a while and decide to upgrade the CMS with 7.30a.
I am now experiencing really weird access problems using the IE route to the CMS's homepage eg http:\\servername\2301. I get the usual login page and it goes away to load data, sometimes is successful and sometimes it throws me back to the login screen. Whenever it is successful, drilling into any of the information causes me to be thrown back to the login screen, its really strange and I don't get any errors. No others servers give me this problems!!!
Accessing the same information through the HPSIM management console and drill down through the same server is also ok using this method of access. It just seem to be a problem using http:\\servername\2301 or https:\\servername\2381.........!!!
If anyone has suggestion, I would be greatful cause is baffling me at the moment, I have thought about reinstalling the agents.
Thanks A

Re: PSP 7.30a on the CMS
Is the time on your server correct? You didnt say if you were browsing locally or remote but it sounds like your session is instantly timing out. Which could happen if there is close to 15 minutes or more time setting difference on the system you are browsing from and the system you are browsing to.

Re: PSP 7.30a on the CMS
Rich,
I've been managing the environment using HPSIM for 2 years or more an dhave never seen this problem before, an dalthough I am using the same IE browser this particular server is downstairs.
The time on the server is exactly the same as my workstation, nothing has changed except I've updated with 7.30.
Regards
