RE: Continously get power redundancy lost trap
How do I stop this trap from being generated continously. I set the hardware status polling task to run once a day. My email is flooded with the same message. We can't take care of the problem right now and I need a way to stop the trap.

Re: RE: Continously get power redundancy lost trap
You can modify your automatic event task to read "and not power redundancy" to avoid this.

Re: RE: Continously get power redundancy lost trap
If it is the Server that is generating the SNMP Trap a brutal approach would be to remove the destination Trap Address. So HPSIM would never see the Traps from this Server. Obviously this would stop any SNMP Traps from reaching your SIM Server.
If it is the HP Management Agents picking up the fault you could experiment with removing the various agents using the HP Management Agent GUI.
