registered mibs not showing in the traps settings list

registered mibs not showing in the traps settings list

I have painstakingly created all the cfg files for all the mibs for Procurve switches and registered all using a file.list however when i try to view/configure snmp trap settings the recently registered mibs dont appear in the mib name list - is this correct or is something wrong?

You should see the Mib listed in the MIB names and from there be able to see the details of the MIB.

As Jadrice pointed out, MIB registration isn't the most simple of processes but I have successfully registered a MIB into HPSIM.

I just followed the guide.
