Registration of VM Host fails
Dear HPSIM community,
I get a strange behaviour when I want to register VM hosts or deploy the VMM agents on our ESX servers.
The first action causes two major events containing this entries:
Event Name: Login Attempt By Invalid User
Event originator:
Event Severity: Major
Event received: 01-Mar-2006, 17:28:36
Event description: A login attempt was made by an invalid user
Security Event Details
User Name:\
IP Address: 127.0.0.1
Device Name: 127.0.0.1
If I want to deploy an agent via the Web gui I get the same error four times.
I haven't found anything like this on forums right now.
The actual version numbers are:
HPSIM build version: C.05.00.00.00
Server Migration Pack: 2.0.2
Virtual Machine Managment Pack: 2.0.2
The HPSIM software was migrated from 4.1 to 5.0, it is running on Win2k SP4 Standard edition english. The database is MSSQL 2000 Standard edition english with SP3a.
It seems like wants to do some interal log in to the CMS which does not work.
Any ideas?
Many thanks in deed.
Andi
