Remote deployment of Support Pack fails

I am a bit new to SIM and am having issues deploying support pack or openssh or software/firmware on managed systems using the "deploy drivers, firmware and agents" option.

The CMS goes to the repository and picks up the right software but fails to install it on the remote system. The error is:
EXCEPTION CLASS: com.hp.mx.exceptions.MxFailedAuthenticationExcption
EXCEPTION: Authentication failed

I am logged into the SIM as an administrator account that has admin access on the remote system as well. The remote system has a trust relation established with the SIM using the certificate method.

PS. All Windows environment.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Re: Remote deployment of Support Pack fails

openSSH must be properly configured on your CMS for this task to work. As a part of the InitialPSP deployment the CMS must login to itself using openSSH.

For more information on setup and troubleshooting of openSSH see the whitepaper "Secure Shell (SSH) in HP Systems Insight Manager" which is available at http://www.hp.com/go/hpsim --> Information Library --> Whitepapers

configuring OpenSSH was the clue.
