Removing WBEM subscription from client
Is there a way to remove a WBEM subscription from a Windows machine rather than from the CMS? For example, if a machine is renamed and then removed from SIM, the subscription with the old name still exists on the server. Issuing a WMI query like "SELECT * FROM WbemEventConsumer" shows:
https://x.x.x.x:50004/old_servername?wbemip=x.x.x.x
The problem is the renamed server still forwards indications to SIM with the old hostname which is no longer valid. However, since the host isn't in SIM any longer it can't be unsubscribed from WBEM indications via SIM.
Has anyone found a way to duplicate the behavior of mxwbemsub using WMI commands on the client to remove or create WBEM subscriptions?
