Riloe 2 and server serial number

Hi all.
I can't associate a riloe2 and the hosting server in Sim 4.2. I have found on this forum that SIM associates the rib and the server using the server serial number. And that's the problem : the server serial number returned by the Riloe ( field in the XML datas) does not match the server serial number in SIM nor the agents. How can I correct this ? The Riloe is at bios level 1.12, the server is w2k sp4 agents 6.3.

What servers do you see this on? I ran into a similar situation with DL380G2 boxes... I had to have HP create a utility that clears an area of the system bios which was erroneously created with hard-coded info versus dynamically loading it on each power on.
