Script to send test traps

Has anybody managed to persuade HP SIM to deploy a script to the enterprise that will send out test traps?

You can find command line SNMP trap generator tools as freeware by Googling "command line snmp trap generator"

But these command line utilites all bypass the SNMP service. I think we need a way to deploy a script to the enterprise that will send out a test trap via the SNMP service.
