Serialnumbers on HP Client machines

Hi,

I have installed a Insight Manager, but I can´t collect the serialnumbers on my HP Laptop/Desktopmachines, do I need to install an agent for this on the machines I have? Or enable a service like SNMP?

Perhaps a newbie question, but it puzzles me.

Hiya Jim
As its at hardware level i would suggest it can collect the information Via SNMP. If that fails try using WMI which collects the information from inside the computers basically.
