Server Role / Server Location problem
I have some issues with HP SIM here and I hope somebody can help me with this:
Can someone tell me how to get the server role within HP SIM when importing a Windows Based Servers (HP). I find the Server Role option in System Management HomePage -> Task -> Primary Server Role. I also see the option in Management Agents settings -> HP SNMP Settings -> Server Role. The problem still remains when importing the machine.... I do not get the server role option within HP SIM itself. I need this option to make an report within HP SIM. The server / hp sim supports HTTP / WBEM / SMH / SNMP / SSH
I also have an problem with the Server Location option. I can edit this within the server on HP SIM but when making a Rapport of the server, I don't see the Server Location anymore. It's complete empty.
I hope somebody can help me this.

Re: Server Role / Server Location problem
I think the tables used by the Reporting are populated by the Bi-Weekly task. If that hasn't run since you did the changes it'll probably still be empty.
You could do a one off run of the job.

Re: Server Role / Server Location problem
Try running an Identify System on the servers that are reporting empty fields.
