Servers detected as desktops

We run a few servers with Windows Server 2003 installed on desktop hardware like a Evo D510.
These systems are detected by hpsim as desktops. Is there a way to have them categorised as server systems?

Manually edit the System properties (via Tools & Links) when you select the device.

I'm reluctant to leave the option Prevent the Discovery, Identification and Data Collection processes from changing these system properties checked. I recently had to manually take this off a lot of servers to get updates of the information.
Is there any other way? How does hpsim determine that a system should be classified as a desktop?
