SIM 04.00.00 Some DL380's Missing

SIM 04.00.00 Some DL380's Missing

I have a large number of DL380's all configured the same but some are listed as unknown. I have checked SNMP settings and reset webagent details. But this has not helped.

anyone know what i might be missing.

If hpSIM couldn't communicate via SNMP, they would be classified as 'unmanaged.' Since they are 'unknown' that means that SNMP has properly been discovered, however it isn't getting a response as it tries to identify the Insight agents.

hello

try to upgrade managament agents.

Check under SNMP service options, security tab, if you have selected Accept SNMP packets from these hosts check if 127.0.0.1 adress is there.
