SIM 4.2 false notifications

We just recently upgraded from 4.0 to 4.2 and we've actually had this problem from 4.0 days. We have 5 global locations, Site A is the SIM server, each site has it's own polling ping status setup to poll every 15 minutes. What is happening is we are getting notifications from are remote sites stating that the system is unreachable and then 5 minutes later get another notice saying it is reachable. I know there may be some latencies with the pings, however I have not found a way to modiy the threshold milliseconds and I've also attempted to increase the time it polls with no luck? I can't believe that no one else is having this problem? Our goal is to be able to notify us when the system is unreachable and again reachable by SNMP and PING. I have 2 seperate tasks setup for each location. First one being "Critical" and "Normal" and Second one setup to monitor "Proliant Storage Events" and "Proliant System and Environment" of any type. Can someone please shed some light on this? Any help would be great! :)

No Jeff, you're not alone!

We have the exact same problem and it has been follow us since Insight Manager 7.0.

If you ever find a solution to the problem please let me know.

So far, I read the article above and have not gotten any false notifications. I think the magic solution is in the global settings which I didnt even think about going to originally.
