Sim 4.2
I installed Sim4.2 on a different server on our network. For some reasons, it is not discovering all the system on our network. We have one older, older version of insight manager running already. Could this be a problem for my new sim to discover all the servers on the network.
SNMP configuration - I created different snmp community string ead/write string on my new SIM. The old sim has different snmp community sring name with Read/create. Maybe only one create or write community string allow on a server ??
thanks for all your assistance..

Re: Sim 4.2
In the Discovery section, disable Filters. If HPSIM cannot identify the Servers they'll be unknown devices.
Rerun Discovery, and then if they do turn up as Unknown you'll need to correct SNMP.
The Servers can have multiple Read/Write Read/Create SNMP Addresses, but you should also have a Read Only one.
Check also SNMP is not restricting Host Access.
