SIM 4.5 Tool bar has disappeared.

Our SIM has lost its tool bar.
IE6 shoes an error of:

Char: 5
Error: 'menuBar_ID_MANAGE_MENU' is indefined
Code: 0

Can anyone point at a fix for this?
Or should I just do the upgrade to version 5 and get rid of the java stuff?

Make sure all of the JRE's are closed down and then use the Java Console Panel to clear the Java Caches. It sometimes fixes problems like this.

What version of the JRE are you using?

Stopped the tools that were running, and cleared the cache

JRE Vesion is: Version 1.5.0 (build 1.5.0_04-b05)

Even checked JAVA updates, and have latest version.

I've found 1.5 a bit flakier with HPSIM, but have not had it cause the problem you're seeing.
If you only need the JRE for HPSIM you could completely remove the JRE and maybe try installing one of the recent 1.4 variants. The last I used was 1.4.2_08, but I think there's even a _09 out now.

Have upgraded to SIM version 5, and the toolbars work correctly, no JAVA by the looks, excellent.
