SIM 5.0 - Cannot create or customize collections

SIM 5.0 - Cannot create or customize collections

Just finished installing SIM 5.0, and my previously customized lists are gone, and I cannot recreate them. When I click on the customize link, I get a popup that states "Cannot load customization page due to an internal error.".
Has anyone else experinced this or have a recommendation?

In order to resolve the problem, I had to uninstall/reinstall SIM. Upgrading did not work for me.
