SIM 5.0 installation error

I'm getting a very strange error message when I try to install SIM 5.0. It's on Windows 2003 sp1 and I get to the screen that asks Service Account Credentials. The info is correct and when I press the next button a pop up box comes up with "Runtime error(at 172:408) Access Violation at address 10006470..." It almost sounds like a hw issue (ie memory)

Any thoughts?

Re: SIM 5.0 installation error

In case anyone runs across this error, it was a problem with my domain. I reinstalled my domain controller (it's a test network) and all is ok now.

Re: SIM 5.0 installation error

well, my administrator password was blanc, that is why the setup is buging (it's a test server ;)).May be you should fix it by showing a message like "No blanc password, please.
Now, i have a password for this account, and it's working...
