SIM 5.02.02 still missing after 2nd install

so after installing sim 5.02.02 again, putting everything into the system, turning on report, etc.. after a week, i cant connect to it..

i had it on our server at https://server:50000/

but now i get nothing. this is the second time that this has happened, and is becomming very irritating.

once we have it up and running we were thinking about purchasing other monitors for it, but if this keeps on failing we're going to scrap the whole project.

anyone have ideas on what to do about this ?

You may want to include details of how many devices you're monitoring and what HPSIM is sitting on.
Maybe it's trying to monitor too much for the size of the server and it's simply running out of resource.
You might want to try and look at the tasks and when they're scheduled to run and changing them to run separately - perhaps there's one of the standard tasks that is causing issues.

actually i think it has to do with the sql database connection.

Is the database remote? - seems like something is disrupting the connection.

the database was moved to another site, but everything tests ok, and all of the other databases are working fine.
