SIM 5.2 "Identify Systems" returns an empty pop-up box

I have clean install of v5.2 from the DVD, running on x86 Windows 2003 SP2.

When I click on "Run" to intitiate an "Identify" task, I get a pop-up with an exclamation icon but no text or indication of what the error is.

The problem occurs both when running the console from a browser on the CMS server and from remote systems, with different versions of IE 6 and IE 7.

Help?

Appears to be related to DEP. I had to completely disable it in the boot.ini file:

/NoExecute=AlwaysOff

Would be nice to have this in the pre-installation verification check...
