SIM 6.2 Managing Servers in Multiple Domains
Can HP SIM 6.2 manage servers in Multiple domains? Does server need to be in same domain as the servers its managing??. What is the best method for Discovery in A Multiple domain platform?? I very confused by discovery features If I should be using SNMP or Wbem or both. Looking at managing servers with different community strings as well ?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: SIM 6.2 Managing Servers in Multiple Domains
Hi,
Yes off course this is possible.
You can create a list with multiple domain\account members under Global Credentials... All these accounts will be used during the discovery...
Do not forget also to add the ILO and eventual Blade Onboard Admin accounts since these will be also discovered...
Kr,
Bart
