SIM 7.0, DL360 gen8, RHEL6 and "Failed network redundancy"
I have 3 DL360 g8 setup the same way, only difference is that eth0 on two is on core switch 1, while eth1 is on core switch 2. For the third server is the other way around, eth0 is on core switch 2, eth 1 is on core switch 1.
All 3 servers from an OS side says bonding is up and in an OK state. But SIM says SNMP is reporting for the first two servers that network redundancy has been lost (or that a network interface has failed). As far I can tell that report is actually coming from iLO as for one of the servers, I had deleted the iLO from SIM and the server went to green. As soon I discovered the iLO again it went back into major alert mode.
eth2 and eth3 on all 3 servers are down (onboot=no).
Anyone have an idea why SIM thinks that these two have an issue with network?
