SIM and EVA NOT shown Volume, capacity etc..

hi, everyone.

I installed SIM for EVA4400 manage.
SIM ver 5.2SP2
C/V 8.00
find the EVA4400 device object,
but is NOT shown Volume and Capacity.
refer attached png file(Sorry, Japanese UI).

Dose anyone know tips for this problem?

Does SIM and CV reside on the same server

I have the same problem.
My new SIM Server and EVA4400 CommandView8.02 are in the same server.
it is now supported by HP - but it don´t work.
WBEM Disco etc works - SIM-S provider is installed but in discover not detected.

My SIM could discover EVA4400 w/ CVE8.00,
BUT did not show statics of volume,
capacity, and misc value.

I found a bug on CVE8.02 that could NOT
discover EVA4400.

It wasn't clear to me what bug you are referring to in CV 8.0.2

However, If SIM discovers EVA and doesn't show statics of volume,capacity, and misc value do the following:

1/ Stop the Pegasus WMI Mapper Service

2/ Using a text editor, add the variable httpsPort=6989 to the C:\Program Files\The OpenGroup\WMI Mapper\cimserver_planned.conf file

3/ Restart the Pegasus WMI Mapper service

4/ Change the WMI Mapper Proxy port in the HP SIM GUI:

a/ Login to HP SIM GUI with Administrative privileges

b/ Open Optionsâ Protocol Settingsâ WMI Mapper Proxy

c/ Select the radio button preceding the CMS instance of WMI Mapper running on the localhost

d/ Click Edit

e/ Type 6989 in the port number field.

f/ Click OK to save

g/ If there is a error/warning message after OK, delete and add the Proxy information newly

5. Add the text below to the C:\Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\config\identification\wbemportlist.xml file:




6. Restart the HP SIM service

7/ Login to SIM and EVA information should now be visible

It show capacity, volume, and Graph!!
I thank you a lot.

I understand that in default,
JAVAWrapper and pegasus WMI Mapper use
same "5989"/tcp.
it is very difficult for begginer...
