SIM and MSCS Clusters
I am having problems seeing my clusters in SIM. I am able to only see one cluster out of five. And the one that displays, does not properly display information. I'd like to know what the steps to take to allow SIM to see the clusters.
I understand the steps involved are as follows.
-install the cluster monitor agent (which I am told is in the latest PSP)
-Make sure all nodes have the SNMP service correctly pointing to my SIM server with the appropriate string
-Enable the cluster agent on each node via the control panel
Do I have the steps correct? Am I missing anything? Thank you for any input.

Re: SIM and MSCS Clusters
The "cluster monitor agent" is part of the Foundation Agent and enabled/disabled via the control panel applet. Make sure that you have it enabled and have restarted the foundation agent on each node in the cluster. Ensure that the other steps above are done as well and then either discover or re-run an identification task on every node in the cluster. This should properly identify your cluster. If you still have problems, please post a little more information on the clusters you are having problems with. Are all the nodes in that cluster properly identified in SIM? Does it show them as the proper hardware model, OS name, etc?
