SIM and PSP 7.5

Installed the new 7.5 PSP on the SIM server, rebooted, and now we can no longer log in to SIM. System Mamagement Homepage is fine, Version Control, remote access to the server, etc all behaving normally. Receive "sign on failure" from SIM, tried several different ID's from several different machines, even locally on the server itself. no joy.

I am hoping using domain login means something in the AD connector in the software itself is repairable, but i do not know the location or the repair.

Any suggestions would be appreicated.

Thanks

Re: SIM and PSP 7.5

Installing the PSP should not have caused that problem. Your SIM database has been corrupted. If you have a backup of the database then restoring it should correct the problem.

Re: SIM and PSP 7.5

Will restore from a backup and give it a go.

I was having a heck of a time connecting a driver update to a sign on failure in SIM, glad to know it was not just me.

Will let you know the outcome.

Thanks again, especially for the quick reply.
