SIM data to offsite management over the internet
I have a project to make SIM in my office collect data from our customers network. How can I get the data back too my server?

Matt, you need to configure the customers servers to send SNMP traps back to your SIM server. (You're probably going to need some kind of VPN tunnel between the sites.) You'll also need to allow the management ports between your two networks; in other words, you'll need to be able to connect to 2301 or 2381 on their servers (via web browser).
I'd recommend building a tunnel between the two sites, maybe with a Cisco PIX or something like that.

The ports you mention...they are like the 50000 port used internally? So that would have to be NATed to an outside IP and a hole opened in the firewall or get VPN tunnels established. This is going to get ugly.
