SIM Database question
I have recently taken over administration of SIM for our company. Unfortunately, documentation has been a little lacking. I have been tasked with incorporating the local SIM database into one of the company's SQL databases. I have two questions:
1) This server has an instance of SQL 2000 running on it. How can I tell if the SIM database is using the SQL instance or if it is using MSDE?
2) How does one go about porting the local database over to a SQL database hosted on another server?
My SIM version is 5.01.00.02. Thanks in advance for your assistance!
