SIM doesn't send out alert for SuSE client
Hi,
We are using SIM 5.2 on Windows 2003. Our client is HP Proliant 380G5 running SuSE10SP2.
After I installed the HP Proliant Service pack for SuSE, we can view client's hardware configuration from SIM console. If we shutdown client server, we will be able to receive SIM alert.
However the version control agent doesn't work on SuSE, client server can't retrieve the latest firmware information from the SIMS server, which is also the repository server. If client hardware raid failed, event doesn't propagate to SIM server and there is no alert sent out.
Does anyone successfully configure the SIM agent on linux?
