SIM on a virtual
In the past we've had to install HP SIM on a physical hardware. When I read the install guide it mentioned that the CMS could be installed on an ESX guest. Does this mean I no longer need to install HP SIM 6 on a physical box? Further down it mentions that if you want to run Insight Remote Support Advanced you need a blade server or Proliant server of a certain model.
I intend to run the Insight Remote Support so does that mean I need a physical box? It sounds like I do I just wanted to be sure.

Re: SIM on a virtual
Yes, you do. And just because you can install HP SIM itself on a virtual machine doesn't mean you should. It is really only intended for demo environments or proof of concept.
