Re: SIM postmaster error message
As per my knowledge, the default port number for HP SIM is 50000. Was just referring to "HINT: Is another postmaster already running on port 50006? If not, wait a few seconds "
Not sure if this is a port or the IP issue.
Could also be IP conflicts as well.
But you can take a look on this user guide to check the settings and configuration on the HP SIM

Re: SIM postmaster error message
we installed SIM V 5 on HP-UX 11.11 and our network is not connected to internet so ther is no spyware at all.
i have received this error after i halt SIM package then restart the node then run the SIM package again .
i wonder what is happening . there is no new configuration and i can access the GUI interface .
i have already read the usr guide manual , i ask about any SIM troubleshooting manual if you have
best regards
omy
