Run DHCP server on a multihomed system also running HPSIM

I have a server running HP SIM with one ip address. I am considering setting up dhcp server on this machine and using the second nic with a different ip address on the same network segment (multihomed) and binding it to the dhcp server. Has anyone done this before and will it affect HP SIM talking back to servers, for example over the second nic instead of the original nic and ip??

You should be ok!!

I was that way a year ago and we went a different way since i had a server not doing anything i changed it.

But i was ok anyway!
