SIM Server reports wrong IP
we have a problem with our SIM.
Version C.05.02.02.00 on a WIN 2003 OS and FuSi hardware. :-(
The SIM-Server himselve report an IP from another server in the network with the same hardware but W2k OS.
SIM-Server: 10.1.1.200
Server-X: 10.11.1.1
Any time a discovery runs there is a conflict between these servers.
Either the SIM-Server is shown with both IPs or the Server-X is shown with SIM-Services.
NSLOOKUP shows all correct on all servers.
Forward and reverse!
Using a hostsfile with hard linked IPs to servernames results the same error!
How can we remove the 10.11.1.1 IP from the SIM-Server?
Any hints are welcome!

Re: SIM Server reports wrong IP
Uninstalled FSC-ServerView from this server; rebooted this server this weekend; both were discovered correct.
Don`t know why but it`s working now!

Re: SIM Server reports wrong IP
It MUST be a bug!
Third Server with the same name but different IP!
Identification page reports:
Address: 10.1.1.200, 10.1.1.1, 10.11.1.1
Preferred System Name: 'one of the three servers' every day changing!!
Tried editing HOSTS: same problem
Checked DNS no error!
Unable to remove one, because the 10.1.1.200 is the SIM himselve!
PLEASE any Idea!
Cheers Marc

Re: SIM Server reports wrong IP
All of these servers have the same UUID!
The SVIEW Agents collect incorect data:
Type 1: System Information
Name: PRIMERGY TX150S2
Vendor: FUJITSU SIEMENS
Serial-Nr: To Be Filled By O.E.M.
Version: To Be Filled By O.E.M.
System UUID: 00020003-0004-0005-0006-000700080009
Type 2: Baseboard Information
Name: D1751
Vendor: FUJITSU SIEMENS
SerialNr.: 00000000
Version: 1.00
Type 3: System Enclosure
Asset Tag: To Be Filled By O.E.M.
Manufacture: FUJITSU SIEMENS
Serial Number: To Be Filled By O.E.M.
Type: Desktop
Version: To Be Filled By O.E.M.
Checking the agent configuration is everything showing correct!
But the agent report shows on the servers the summary like above.
No one any idea??
